Cassandra Aston writes dark fantasy and romantasy full of morally gray men, dangerous magic, and court intrigue, but her heroines are never damsels waiting to be rescued. They fight for their own power, demand equal footing, and refuse to shrink for anyone, including the men they fall for. Underneath the banter and slow-burn tension, her stories dig into real questions of injustice, morality, and what it costs to stand your ground.

She is the author of the award-winning Prophecies of Angels and Demons series and the completed Deadly Fae Duology. She is currently expanding her interconnected universes with new fae stories, villain-led retellings, and gothic standalones that lean darker, sharper, and more emotionally ruinous.

Under the pen name Caz Andra, she writes dystopian and post-apocalyptic stories that never guarantee a happy ending. Her debut novel under that name, Rite of Unity, was released on August 6, 2026.

When she can, she escapes to a cozy mountain cottage to write, fueled by hot chocolate and spite, and she believes there is only one rule that truly matters: love fiercely.
